Step 1
It's been too long
When American Airlines recalled Flight Attendants from furlough in January 2021, not all LAX-based Flight Attendants were given the opportunity to return to their home base. They have been displaced ever since β€” and we have not forgotten them.
Days Since Displacement

That is of our Displaced Flight Attendants being kept away from their home base. It's time to end this.
Step 2
Hold management accountable
Please take a minute and walk over to LAX Base Manager Cynthia Valdivia's desk and let her know we stand in solidarity with our displaced FAs and demand they be returned to LAX.
πŸ“ Walking Directions
1️⃣
Enter the Operations office.
2️⃣
Walk to the manager's room.
3️⃣
Her desk is located in the back by the windows on the right-hand side.

Introduce yourself and let her know you're there to speak about the displaced LAX flight attendants.
🚌 Employee Bus β€” Important Notice
The employee bus may be used to travel to Operations to speak with the Base Manager as a work-related visit.

❌ The employee bus must NEVER be used for non-rev or personal travel. Team members who use their LAWA badge to access any Employee Access Point and board a bus airside when not working risk losing their LAWA badge and parking privileges.

Penalty: Up to $14,950 per violation.

We don't need to add flying to fix this.
LAX operates one of the largest departure banks in the AA system β€” we just don't have enough of our own Flight Attendants to cover it. Bringing our displaced POR Flight Attendants home is the solution.
